Day 1
Pick you up at the hotel to visit Terracotta Warriors, the reason why many people travel to Xian to see. Explore local farmers’ cave dwellings at a village nearby. Head to Banpo Museum, a neolithic village more than 6,000 years ago.
Day 2
Visit Shaanxi History Museum in the early morning. Then head to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, another major symbolic site of attraction of Xian. Visit the Great Mosque in the Muslim quarter and walk through the busy alley market of local people. You may enjoy the night evening show at Shaanxi Grand Opera House with an extra cost.
Day 3
Climb and bicycle on the 600-year-old Xian City Wall, the existing largest city defense structure in the world. Visit Forest of Stone Steles Museum – the former Confucius Temple, which is famous for its huge collection of Chinese calligraphy steles and tablets. Start a short excursion to Xi’an Guanzhong Folk Art Museum, an off-the-beaten-path traditional courtyard complex.
